Friends,

Over the course of the last three and half years, and through three golf events, all of you have been incredibly generous in helping our family raise money to make sure my niece and nephew have a secure future. Your support and generosity have been incredible and, most of all, it has been appreciated more then any letter can ever convey. From the bottom of our hearts, we all thank you very much.

Beginning this year, and going forward, we will be raising money for two new causes. After careful consideration we have decided that this year The Chris Grady Memorial Golf Outing and Benefit will raise money to help support  the following wonderful causes. The first is the Christopher M. Grady Scholarship at Poly Prep Country Day School. Christopher graduated from Poly Prep in 1980, and the school established a scholarship in his name and in the names of other alumni, after they were lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001.

Chris was a proud Poly Prep alumnus. At Poly, Chris was an all conference baseball player and was a member of the wrestling team. The school held a special place in his heart, and was the source of some wonderful and everlasting memories. The friends he made at Poly were still very much part of his life when he was taken from us so unexpectedly.

The Christopher M. Grady Scholarship is awarded annually to a student athlete at Poly Prep who displays the qualities of leadership, athleticism and dedication to the school, reflective of Chris’ time there.

The second organization is The Cranford Family Care Association.  Cranford Family Care is a 501(c)3 organization which offers support to local families in need.  The Association aim is to return individuals and families to self-sufficiency.  There is a true concern for the dignity of the individual.  As one of Chris' dreams was to become a strong and active part of his new community of Cranford, NJ, it seems fitting to offer help to an organization who assisted numerous September 11^th families, including Kelly and the children, in their time of need.  Our generosity this year will be directed to those struggling families with children.  Our help will assist in alleviating hardship through emergency funds, clothing, food pantry, medical care, etc.

Thank you for your participation in these noble causes, which honor a gracious and caring man.

Once again I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to this past Friday for the 3^rd Annual Chris Grady Memorial Golf Outing and for those who came to our celebration afterwards. We were very fortunate to enjoy a beautiful day for golf, our first year with good weather, and that carried over to a wonderful night that was enjoyed by all those in attendance.

For the past three years we have been very lucky to enjoy the friendship, support, love and generosity of so many. For me to sit here and tell you it is appreciated would be a very mild understatement. My family & myself are so very gratefully for everything you have all done to make our lives and the lives of Chris’ family a little easier since September 11^th. Please know everything is very much appreciated and most of all it will NEVER be forgotten.

Our event has enjoyed the support of so many and I just wanted to thank everyone involved. Whether you bought a raffle ticket,  50/50, donated items, donated services or made a donation. You have the deepest thanks and sincere gratitude of all the Grady family.

Again…   thank you for helping us remember Chris and keep his spirit alive. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Good morning everyone….

On behalf of my entire family I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out for the

2^nd Annual Chris Grady Memorial Golf Outing & Benefit

It is the through the support and friendship of people like you that we have been able to raise money for my niece & nephew’s future. There are not enough words in the dictionary for my family to say thank you properly. If you were a golfer, attended the benefit or made a donation it will never be forgotten.

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

It is with a grateful heart that I extend my profound appreciation for all you have done during this very difficult time.  As we celebrate Chris' life, his memory lives on in a legacy of decency, charity and love.  Thank you for being part of that legacy.
 

I want to thank all of the people who have helped Chris' family in their time of need.  Their have been so many who have done something that it would be impossible to name them all. 

To all of the rescue workers, social workers, friends, neighbors, family and strangers who have responded with incredible generosity, please know that every prayer, gesture, kind word, and deed are all deeply appreciated. God Bless You all.
