How Can I Help?

That is a question that many people have asked me since September 11th. It is one that I have asked myself many times since that day. For me, creating this website is a way that I could try to maximize the benefit of my contributions. I am covering the cost of this website to ensure every dollar raised through it goes to Kelly and the children. If I can provide a way for people to contribute to Chris' family, then I have done something worthwhile to help.

Chris' good friend John Marino has graciously acted as a clearinghouse for people to send contributions. I have provided the address below with instructions and include it on the bottom of every page.

We now accept contributions via credit card. This service is provided via Pay Pal. An USA Today article on how Pay Pal works can be found here.

I have also set up a "Shop2Help" link on this website. It is a collection of links to internet e-commerce websites that I have set up affiliations with. When you shop at these sites, a portion of your purchase goes to the affiliate. When a certain level of sales are met, a check is sent to that affiliate. Every dollar of that distribution will go to Kelly and the children. The amount generally ranges from 3 to 7% of the purchase. If we are going to shop on the internet anyway, then we can make our dollars go a little further than expected.

The Annual Golf Tournament and Benefit held in Chris' memory is always a great way to contribute and show your support to the entire Grady family. Its usually held in early May at the Dyker Beach Golf Club in Brooklyn. Plan on staying for a party at St. Pat's afterwards. You can go to the Golf Outing Section. The Grady Bowl is also a fun way to celebrate Chris' memory, it is usually held in December.
